“Merrymake It With Me” by The Republic Tigers – Song and Lyrics

I mentioned earlier today the intense lyric battle I am in with another fellow music lover. Our last exchange compelled me to come here and immediately post one of my favorite songs from the last several years.

“Merrymake It With Me” by The Republic Tigers was featured in the first Indie Christmas in July playlist I published a couple years back. It was one of my favorite songs on that particular playlist.

The Republic Tigers aren’t exactly new, and they have several songs that many people in my music circles like (most notably “Buildings and Mountains“), so I was surprised today to find out that the lyrics to “Merrymake It With Me” are not published anywhere online.

I guess because the song was included only in an EP from April of 2011, and not on an official album release, it never made its way onto the normal lyrics websites.

Well, that’s ridiculous. It’s a great song, and the next person who wants to look up the lyrics shouldn’t be led on a wild goose chase like we were earlier today.
