We have one pretty simple goal: spread good, off-the-radar music to the masses.
Hopefully at some point we’ll gain enough stature to have artists contact us with new releases. For now, we have to scour other sites (check the sidebar widget with our favorite music resources) to find the latest and greatest music to feature here.
Where possible, we’ll link to an mp3 available already on the web, which can be played using the mp3 plugin installed on the site. We’ll also post the video of the song if available, or just a video of the song with a background so that users can listen to the song in whatever way is most convenient for them.
We definitely encourage you to support the artists that you like. Go see their show, buy their records, visit their websites. The life of an indie musician is not always an easy one, but one constant about all of these artists is that they love what they do and are passionate about their music. The sounds they create make the world a better, happier place, so when you find something you like, find an appropriate way to say thanks to that artist. This website our way.
