Our latest treat from the fine folks at Lost At E Minor is “Payphone” by Erik Omen.
It’s got something of a haunting quality to it, but I enjoyed the vocals and the drums especially. The visuals match perfectly.

CHLLNGR apparently does not like vowels nor lower case letters. He does, however, clearly like making chill tunes with visually arresting videos.
Here is the video for his track “Change” that I just caught during my continued trip into the Lost at E Minor archives that I missed at the beginning of this year.

Another Lost At E Minor find today.
The song is called “Stamp” by the The Rural Alberta Advantage. Their website address is http://www.theraa.com, which makes it sound like some kind of governing body for rifles or recording artists. Regardless, this is a good track with a unique video.

I love you Lost At E Minor.
I visit at least 2-3 times a week not only to find great new bands like Keston Cobblers’ Club, but also for unique musical experiences like the video below, which features Duwende, a supremely talented a capella group.

Simple, beautiful song complemented by a perfectly complementary video. Always a winner.
Hat tip to Lost at E Minor for this find.
The band is Keston Cobbler’s Club, who I had not heard about before just now. I will most certainly be checking out more of their work.

While over at Lost at E Minor, I caught a song by Lord Huron called “Stranger”. While I like that song, I found another that I like even more while checking out the band’s website. It’s called “Mighty” and it sounds like it would be at home on the Lion King soundtrack or on Indie Rock Cafe, and you have to love that kind of versatility.

This song is apparently a demo by the U.K. band Solid Gold Dragons, via Lost at E Minor.
The singers’ voices at the beginning was a bit jarring – and frankly my first reaction was to be annoyed by it – but I really started to enjoy the song as it moved along. I think you will too.

I am becoming a huge fan of Future Islands. I really enjoyed their song “Before the Bridge”, even including it on one of this summer’s Indie Christmas playlists. And now I’m digging the latest single off of their newest album On the Water.
It’s called “Balance” and here is the video:

Kudos to the folks at Lost at E Minor for this find. The song is called “Love Is All” by The Tallest Man On Earth (aka Kristian Matsson). As they mention in their write up, his voice is quite unique and provides an interesting juxtaposition to the delicate strumming of the guitar. Very good, emotive song, and the video is good too.
